So on Twitter, I came across a post that somebody made on their Twitter account, commenting on how “Flurry Heart is SUCH a HORRIBLE character!”, all because she’s the fifth Alicorn character.

Oh and did I mention that she’s a BABY Alicorn?

Yes, you read right. “Fans” are being toxic over a baby character, that’s an Alicorn….

I don’t get what their point is. 

First, Flurry Heart’s a baby. Can you REALLY call a character that’s under a year old  Mary Sue or something? I mean sure, she’s an Alicorn Princess, BUT she’s also a baby. As in SHE CAN’T CONTROL HER POWERS YET. 

In the two part premiere episode of season 6, Flurry Heart was a newborn filly, who had yet to even KNOW the extent of her abilities, let alone LEARN how to control her powers. SOOO SORRY that she’s not Stewie Griffin and knows how to do EVERYTHING INSTANTLY. (Note the sarcasm)

Second, the only excuse everyone has pointed out so far is her design, consisting of larger wings, horn and eyes that aren’t “Like any OTHER baby pony design”. Uh, that’s the point though? 

Not EVERY character in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic are gonna have the SAME designs. This goes for body types, eye shapes, mane and tails, colors, Cutie Marks, talents and more. Character designs should be unique and special, like the recent character designs for Disney characters. 

They’re not a bunch of anime characters, where the only differences is their hair styles, eye colors and clothing. (Think of Sailor Moon, where the female characters have the same body types, but different heights and such. You get the idea pretty much)

Third, Flurry Heart ONLY appeared in a total of SEVEN episodes, two where she isn’t “Talking”. And her last appearance was only in both a flashback and on a stain glass. Nothing more, nothing less. 

But everyone on Twitter are acting like she’s the Mary Sue Fusion of Twilight Sparkle and Princess Celestia. Once again, Flurry Heart only appeared in SEVEN EPISODES, she doesn’t even have a major role in the COMICS except maybe on a cover of one issue and a cameo appearance as a background character. 

Mary Sue? UNLIKELY. If I wanna compare her to one character, it’s Twilight Sparkle, because they both had magic that needed to be controlled and learned. Except Twilight was a school pony when her untapped magic was first revealed, while Flurry Heart’s magic was revealed when she was a baby, in her first debut. 

Four, the NITPICKING from the Twitter Weebs… I’m thinking that they’re just bored with the current MLP series and HOW AGONIZINGLY SLOW it’s going, and they’re just picking and choosing which characters from the FIM series that should be torn apart and “Hated”. 

Actually, this is JUST as stupid as when Twilight Sparkle first became an Alicorn Princess, because the ONLY thing that changed about her was the addition of the wings and a TINY smidgen of height difference. 

Everyone HATED Alicorn Twilight at first, but that died out when they figured out that Twilight’s still Twilight, but with wings and a royal status.

Overall, the hate for one of the most minor characters in the entire MLP Gen 4 series is not only stupid, but also just so like a “Brony” or something. I mean, this is so stupid, I can’t even think of a better way to say how stupid the Weeb argument is!

But everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, especially on which characters they like or not. However, I think everyone also has to have a reason on why they like/hate certain characters, in my opinion, not just say things like “Well I hate THIS character because they’re PINK, or their personality’s BAD, etc.”

Even fans of villains have reasons why they love to hate villains in a positive way without sounding like a bunch of toxic fans. *eyerolls*

You got an actual witch, who’s probably super old, can use magic AND has her wishes for her own selfish and narcissistic means.

One year ago, Star vs The Forces of Evil ended its fourth season and it was a disaster. It wasn’t always all that bad, in fact the show was pretty good on it’s first two seasons and bit of season 3 however it’s just the final season that ruins it. It didn’t live to people expections and it felt rushed. Now let’s discuss how the show messed up shall we?

DAMN! Good thing I NEVER watched the series! 
Because the writing felt SO flawed in some of the episodes, especially in the fourth season! 

And MY GOD! I’ve read the plots and thank the Lord that I NEVER saw it! It sounds like THE absolute WORST! 

Poor story telling, terrible character plots, no satisfying endings. ALL because some writers think that using racism was a “Brilliant” idea as a theme that never made sense, NOR the plot! 

“Got an idea for a series finale! Let’s have the Mewmen HATE the Monsters because they’re MONSTERS, then we go through some pointless plots by doing ABSOLUTELY nothing except drag some stupid plots through, throw in some “troubled romances” and in the FINAL episode, we have Star just be the most selfish person in the series by LITERATELY destroy the magic, thus causing not ONLY chaos and destruction, but ALSO kill off the characters who ARE made of magic! Nevermind the fact that Star and the others could ALSO cause more dimensional universal problems in the near future, but OOPS! We don’t have anymore time or whatever to start a new season! Sucks to be the fans that actually LOVED the series!”

I mean, the writing in this series finale is SO terrible, it makes ALL of the episodes in Miraculous Ladybug sound like an award winning novel, or the stories in the Archie AND IDW Sonic comics sound like a masterpiece! SMH

If any of us wanted, we could’ve at least do a complete reboot of the series, starting with Season One, where Star’s wand DOESN’T get destroyed, or lose half of the crystal for whatever reason. Because the damn wait for the overall wand to be complete again was dragging on. 

Also, instead of something like using racism in a story, how about actually have Star do, oh I don’t know, FIGHT THE FORCES OF EVIL INSTEAD OF HAVING HER GO THROUGH THE TROUBLES AND FAULTS THAT WERE CAUSED BY ECLIPSA’S SO CALLED FAMILY AND SCUMBAG HUSBAND BECAUSE OF LIFE CHOICES THAT ULTIMATELY CAUSED THE TREASON OF THE BUTTERFLY FAMILY!?

Again, I’ve read the plot of the series, but even I know that this is a load of BS sundae, topped with WTF sauce, what’s the point sprinkles, with a bunch of loophole nuts and unnecessary story whipped cream, completing everything with a big ol’ what’s the whole point of this cherry on the top of the sundae!

If you’re gonna tell a story, tell a story without making it SO hated, that half of the fans would rather watch the horrible episodes of Miraculous Ladybug AND seasons 2 and beyond episodes of Total Drama Island then having to suffer through the season four worst mistake of the entire Stars VS the Forces of Evil franchise.

So CONGRATU-FRICKING-LATIONS, Disney Bigwigs! You RUINED Star VS the Forces of Evil for the SvsTFOE Fans EVERYWHERE! First it was the corporation for making the crappiest live actions movies based on the animated movies, and now YOU….!

Moral of the Rant: Think of the Fans and DON’T screw up and completely ruin a series for everyone else! THINK ABOUT IT!

Ok, so this makes no sense at all, but I love it.

This is one of most well done fight scenes in animation “makes no sense” my ass

Dude can you imagine how fun the animators have animating this?? I mean it’s a pain in the butt but look at it! It’s so good! No dialogue no quibs basically playing tag with shadow and light like that some good shit right there

And the subtlety too?? time actually moves so you have smaller and smaller white areas. And that tiny shakes when the robot landed at the end?? *chef kiss* perfection

Also, the animators working on Samurai Jack brought in martial artists and those that specializes in traditional weapons to know how to animate fighting moves and moves using weapons.

I think this was also done for Avatar: the Last Airbender.
